About Ad Astra
Founded in April of 2000 e.v. and located in the Valley of Denver, Colorado, Ad Astra Oasis is a local body of Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) chartered by the U.S. Grand Lodge. With ties to Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism, Gnosticism, and other schools of ancient Mystery, we are a fraternal initiatory order that has accepted the Law of Thelema as defined within The Book of the Law.
· Rites of Initiation
Ad Astra Oasis offers the
lower Man of Earth degrees (Minerval - III°) in the Order's initiatory system. Through metaphor
and symbolism, O.T.O. strives to educate the individual of the Mysteries of Reality, assisting each in
the discovery of his or her own True Will. Read more about the O.T.O. here.
· The Vault of Stars
The Vault is our Temple. Here we meet, celebrate, and perform ritual, in particular The Gnostic Mass.
· Events
We perform numerous other events and functions aside from our formal procedures. Social events, unique ritual, and classes on topics ranging from herbalism to Qabalah are a small selection of our activities which evolve and promulgate Thelema.
· Society
Embodying an active commonwealth of Thelemites, Ad Astra Oasis welcomes any and all individuals who possess a serious and vested interest in the Great Work. Formal membership of the Oasis via initiation is restricted only to being "free" (of legal troubles), and "of full age" (18+).
